You went to the beach with your friend one evening, and the two of you were playing in the water, swimming, and tanning the entire day. The two of you had just realized that you became very hungry. Your friend told you to go to the restaurant across the street from the beach and save you two a seat, while she packed up all of your beach stuff. You agreed and made your way over to the restaurant.
You got a quaint table outside of the restaurant, so you could still view the amazing scenery of the ocean. You look at the menu as you wait for your friend. You happen to look up and see this cute guy at a table across from you. He’s sitting talking on the phone with someone, but it’s not loud enough for you to hear who he’s talking to.
He suddenly laughs at something someone on the phone said to him, and you feel butterflies in your stomach. He had the CUTEST laugh! You feel yourself giggling as you continue to look at your menu and wait for your friend.
You can’t help but look again, and you look up from your menu at the guy again. Only this time, he makes eye contact with you. He winks at you and you blush and smile as you return your eyes to your menu.
You see a waiter go over to his table, but the guy doesn’t even look at the waiter while speaking, he only looks at you. You try not to look back, because you were a little shy when meeting new people.
Moments later, the waiter comes to your table and drops off a beautiful little pastry. You look at it with a confused expression and say, “Uhh..excuse me sir? I didn’t order anything yet.” The waiter smiles and says, “I know. This one’s on that gentleman over there. Enjoy!” The waiter points over to the cute boy from before, and he looks up at you and waves.
The boy speaks up and says, “I hope you like chocolate!” You giggle at his adorable accent and you reply, “I love chocolate, thank you!” The boy smiles at you and soon your friend comes to join you at the table.
You and your friend gossip quietly about what just happened, and the two of you giggle like little girls. When the time comes to leave, you pick up your things and walk towards the exit. “Oh, hang on a sec, I have to use the restroom.” you tell your friend. She holds your things as you go down the hallway towards the bathrooms.
When you go to turn the corner, you accidentally crash into someone. “OW!” You say as you rub your head in pain. You look up to see that it’s the cute boy from before. “Oh god, I’m sorry babe. Here,” The boy says as he leans down and places a sweet kiss on your forehead. “All better?” You giggle and say, “I guess. There’s still the unanswered question, who are you?”
The boy smiles and says, “Well I’m Louis. I think the bigger question is who are you? And why have I never seen you around before?” You laugh and say, “I’m Jasmine. My friend and I came down to the beach today on our day off from work. We normally don’t go to this part of town.
The boy nods his head, and then smiles. “Well, I’m sure glad you did.” He says as he looks sweetly into your eyes. You feel your heart melt from his cuteness and you say, “Listen, my friend’s waiting for me because we have quite a long car ride back home.”
Louis looks down at the ground quietly with a sad expression. “But,” you say with reassurance, which grabs his attention. “I would really like to see you again.” Louis smiles and says, “You don’t know how much i’d like that!”
The two of you laugh and exchange numbers, and this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
